Floor box location records

Identify the buyer location drawing and the schedule entry associated with the floor box request.

Ask the project contact which information can be shared for the supplier discussion. Attach the relevant records and explain the document question being asked. Request a proposed item description against that reference, then return the response to the buyer reviewer responsible for the location inquiry.

Box drawing inquiry

Ask for an identified drawing of the floor box proposed in the quotation.

Request the revision information and clearly stated units needed by the buyer reviewer. Give the drawing to that reviewer with the location records and collect its questions. Keep the written supplier replies attached to the relevant drawing so proposed changes can be reviewed against the original purchasing question.

Box component descriptions

Request separate identification of the proposed box and the additional components discussed with it.

Ask which descriptions belong to the quotation package and which relate to other purchasing questions. Compare the component schedule with the buyer inquiry and return unclear item names for clarification. Keep any alternative box proposal together with its own component list and document titles.

Floor box quotation review

Compare the item identity across the floor box drawing, component schedule and commercial response.

Ask the buyer reviewer which document questions remain unresolved before purchase approval. Confirm the requested quantities, order requirements and delivery arrangements separately in the commercial correspondence. Preserve the final proposed item description with the location reference and the documents considered by the responsible project contacts.
